Technical equipment, facilities

 

Technical equipment as well as facilities are tangible assets. Tangible as well as intangible assets (e.g. software) > CHF 10’000 are being managed and registered centrally.

 

They are all subject to a requirements proof by the Asset Management Department. The assets can be financed either through resources out of the Professorship Start-up Budget or by applying for an Investment Fund (IK).

 

 

Assets < CHF 10'000 can be procured autonomously.

 

As head of an area of responsibility you are obliged to maintain a revisable list of your IT equipment (due to an increased risk of theft).
